Yoga Update: New time and Kellie’s teaching!

Kellie LefebvreWe have an awesome guest yoga instructor tomorrow for our new 7pm yoga time slot!! Kellie Lefebvre!! Kellie taught last week and by popular demand will be back in studio tomorrow!

ABOUT HER:

Born and raised in Edmonton, my childhood and adolescence were marked with soccer games, baseball tournaments and various other sports designed to exhaust an energetic kid. As I grew older, soccer became my true love as I played at the elite level throughout high school and University. Ridden with injuries, I was later forced to hang up my cleats and focus on working with my body instead of constantly forcing it into submission on the soccer field. Having my ‘opinions’ about Yoga, I skillfully avoided the studio until the winter of 2010 when I found a practice that resonated in my body at the Sattva School of Yoga in Edmonton. It was here that I completed my Sattva teacher training in 2013 with Rameen Peyrow.
I love it when athletes try Yoga and find meaning for themselves in their practices. I love it when Yoga forces people to change their minds and expectations. My goal is to hold space for people to find out more about their own bodies and maybe share a bit, through the nature of the practice, how I moved from someone who avoided Yoga, to one who actively seeks it.

    Great news!!! I went to my first Blitz yoga class last week and really enjoyed it (to my surprise)! I use yoga to complement my running, and it’s usually a chore to get through 60 min, but Kellie’s 90 min class was awesome!
