3 Tips for Staying Fit on Vacation

As I sit in Mexico at an all inclusive resort, after getting married to the woman of my dreams, I’m finding it tough to get the motivation to go to the gym. I want to spend time with my new wife, my amazing friends and family who came all this way and of course I want to spend time with one of my best friends: the beach.

But, with all that here, I’ve still found a way to take care of myself and get my butt in the gym for a half hour a day.

Here are 3 keys to making sure you get a workout in the next time you’re on vacation!

  1. Make sure to go the gym with a workout plan! If you go into the gym with your head not wrapped around a workout it is very hard to get motivated.
  2. Do it in the morning! This way you don’t feel like you have missed out on te beautiful sun and spending time with the people and things you love.
  3. Do what you want! I will be the first to admit I have not done one burpee on this trip. Do exercises you enjoy, it sure makes it easier to get your butt in there!

Now I got to get to the gym!!!!!
