Funky Fork Catering at Blitz!

wpid-wp-1442334119902.jpgHi everyone, I’m Erin and I’m really excited to be working alongside the amazing people at Blitz Conditioning. As a Red Seal Chef and educator in NAIT’s Culinary Continued Education Program, I have had the opportunity to teach people kitchen skills and share my love of food. I’ve always enjoyed pleasing friends and family with tasty treats such as Cupcakes and Banana Brie French toast. Unfortunately tasty doesn’t always mean healthy. As an extremely active individual, whether I’m training for a race or focused on another fitness goal, I find balance in what I’m eating and using to fuel my body. Through discussions with the awesome trainers at Blitz, we realized that not everyone has the ability to find that balance with their food choices, or there’s just not enough time on a busy weeknight to build a nutritious meal from scratch!

This is where I am able to put my passions together-food and fitness-and offer a freezer meal program through my catering company, Funky Fork. I am thrilled to be bringing these tasty, convenient and healthy meals to the Blitz community!

Menu will be posted at Blitz and on the Funky Fork Facebook Page. Submit your orders by Thursday at 5 pm by emailing me (funkyfork_catering@hotmail.com) for Monday bi-weekly delivery, to the freezer at Blitz!  Here is this month’s menu:

With the return of fall though, comes the return of routine. Life tends to get a bit busier and there’s no better time to focus on eating healthier and dedicating time to a training program.
