Four Years!

Group Classes

There are times in our lives where we just need to hang on for the ride and the last year has felt exactly like that. Blitz turns four today and this past year has felt like being strapped onto a rocket by a set of suspenders. The community has grown in ways that we couldn’t have imagined. From a 300 square foot room to over 7000 square feet space and serving over 400 active members, we represent a mosaic of individuals who are determined to make a difference in our own lives and that of others. We cannot thank you enough for all of the support you have given us through the years. We share smiles, high fives, laughs, tears, and a whole lot of sweat, and that has made each of us greater than we could ever be if we walked this life alone.

Our mission statement has always been simple:

“Community oriented fitness.”

Blitz in TijuanaOur passion is to build communities that support individuals through success, failure, and life changes; we simply do this through fitness. Any fitness company can help a person lose weight, build muscle, run faster, and look great, but Blitz empowers you do better in all aspects of your life. Health and fitness are tools, they are not the destination. It is evident that we are using these tools properly in our numbers: in the past year Blitz has managed to donate over $7,000 to charities in Edmonton, support three major charitable events, and send a group to Mexico to build a house for a family. We do these things because we can. We do it because we have been gifted with good health, stable professions, and a passion to give back that ignites in our collective souls.

So what are we aiming to do in 2015?

Blitz is looking internally. We are focused on building our dream team of trainers and staff that are leaders in our community. Leadership development does not happen only with the core team, we have so many members that are influencers within Blitz and we will be acting as support for them too. Our plans are also to build a few more programs that serve the you and to integrate nutrition and a greater presence with holistic health. Above all we are looking to build a stronger community so that each of you has a place to belong.

Here’s to another amazing year!
