The Discipline of Life.


We live who we want to be every day. We can choose to live a fulfilling life focused on developing ourselves so we can become a positive affect on others. We can choose to live a selfish life focused purely on bettering ourselves for no reason whatsoever. We can choose to build ourselves with a positive community and love. We can choose to destroy ourselves by being in an environment filled with negativity and hate. We can choose to think negatively about the things that surround us or we can choose to find a few things to be thankful about.

We have all heard the old saying: “fake it until you make it.” Well I think it’s a partial truth in that we need to believe we have already made it. We are who we are because we choose who we ultimately become everyday.

When we are going through rough patches keep the quote in your mind:

“We become what we want to be by consistently being what we want to become each day.”

Create a discipline every day of thinking positively and good things will come. Create a discipline of fitness every day and the results and positive effects will come. Become disciplined at providing time for those you love and cherish and they will do the same. Life is less about what happens to us and more about how we act and react. If you want to affect others than create the discipline of honing ourself everyday to be that affect.
